Now I have to say I really haven't participated in many challenges but I have to say I had a great time coming up with a project using the following colours.....

Aren't these colours fun!!!  I got out my Art Philosophy cartridge and started to flip through the book when I saw the demonstrated project and thought it was a beautiful project.  The sentiment comes from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Friends, Friends stamp set which you can find here.  So onto my project...

Welcome to the Mr. Cricut Crazy - Anything Goes Blog Hop

What a great theme!!!  ANYTHING GOES!  Life has gotten in the way of my creating and blogging lately.  I am slowly getting back on track so you will see more.

For my project I wanted a little note book that I can throw in my purse because lately I have needed to write things down quickly and I haven't had anything to write on.  I used Mr. Cricut Crazy's Simply Everything Vol. 2 and Office Office stamp sets for the sentiments.  You can find those stamp sets here.

It's the perfect size for my purse.

SURPRISE Baby Blog Hop!!

 

It's a surprise baby shower for my Mr. Cricut Crazy design team sister, Carolanne!!!  Carolanne is having a baby girl who will be named Leah.  We wanted to surprise her with a little baby shower and since we couldn't all be there in person we decided to take the party to her through this blog hop.

Mr. Cricut Crazy - Design Team Wednesday

Today the Design Team is using the Mother's Love stamp set from Mr. Cricut Crazy.  I saw this cute card awhile ago and thought it was perfect for this stamp set.  The inspiration for the card comes from Niki Toll which you can find here.  Here is my take on the card.

Birthday Bash - Elephant

Saturday night I was on Skype with Tanner aka Mr. Cricut Crazy and we ended up creating a card using the same cut from the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge.  It was all his idea to pick the elephant!!!  How could I say no to that!  

So on to my card.  It's a super cute 5x5 card.  The elephant was cut at 4".  The sentiment comes from Mr. Cricut Crazy's Birthday Birthday stamp set.

Today I thought I would make something different than a card.  I came up with these treat holders using the simple diaper fold.  

These were meant to hold some treats.  The treats were kind of what inspired this project.  Well when I went to put the treats in the project I realized that I ate them all!!!  OOPS!

For my projects I decided to use Go Canada!, Birthday Bash, Lacy Labels, and Love You A Latte Cricut Cartridges.

I decided to keep things simple this month as I have had a lot going on.  I made two projects and both are cards.  I used my gypsy to create both projects.

For my first card I used Go Canada! and Birthday Bash.

I cut the leaft from the Go Canada! Cartridge at 6.88".  This image also includes the wording which you see on my card.  To make it easier for me I cut the leaf only and used the hide feature to hide the remainder.  Then I created the same image and hid the leaf.  That way it was easier for me to cut them out of two different colours.  The words "Canada Eh!?" are cut at 5.35".  The base of the card comes from Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge and is cut at 3.94".

 As you can see above I put the leaf and the words on dimensionals!

 

For my next card I used Lacy Labels and Love You a Latte cartridges.

The tea cup and layers are from Love You A Latte and are cut at 2.06".  The base of the card is from Lacy Labels and were sized at 4.29" and the welded together to make a card base.  The next layer is the same shape but cut at 3.82".

Ok....my apologies yet again.  Who knew that I would spend so much time in the hospital (not for me personally) and then taking care of the loved ones.   Just when you think you are out of the woods something else comes along to shake things up.  So my goals for April.....get some sleep (hardly had any for the month of March), get back to crafting....and definately stay out of hospitals.
